LRKR is an ambient electronic producer whose synth-based music is inspired by hip-hop, world music and often-ignored sounds from everyday objects.
A drummer at heart, LRKR focuses on detailed percussion and rhythm to craft his sound. On top of that he layers live sounds, from trumpet, didgeridoo, piano and guitar; plus MIDI strings and flutes. To LRKR, literally everything can be used to produce an interesting song –chains, lighters, water-filled cups, photocopiers, toothbrushes and singing bowls - all make their way into his music.
